Adam Marshall’s days as creative director differ little from those of a warlord of Valhalla: he leads his team into the heart of battle, and returns victorious to feasting and celebration. A native of Las Vegas and alum of Art Institute of Las Vegas, Adam cut his chops at a fast-paced sign shop and design studio. Adam is an artist who knows the value of the blue-collar approach to design and marketing: work diligently, keep focus, make great stuff, and meet your deadlines. He’s an advocate for joy, having grit, staying calm, and a geek for design and craft. Adam has provided a clear vision for VP Creative Group that has produced excellent work and satisfied stakeholders. When at home, he enjoys barbecuing (not to be confused with grilling), consuming copious amounts sports, water coloring while listening to classical piano, yard work, and doting on his family.

Sandy hails from picturesque Niagara Falls, New York. She attended Rochester Institute of Technology and majored in graphic design. She moved to New York City, proving her mettle over five years in daily one-way, 90-minute commutes to the Colgate-Palmolive offices in Manhattan. However, the wanderlust grew stronger, so she packed up her small car and drove south to Tampa, Florida, where she met the love of her life (no, not the Keys; his name is Rob). Sandy finally made her way to Las Vegas and VP Creative Group, where she currently serves as art director. Sandy is a bona fide bike nut, who thinks nothing of riding 23 miles in a day. When not cycling the deserts of Nevada she can be found taking her dog Leo for walks.

As dawn broke on a cold winter’s night in 1984, a comet was observed falling from the sky to rest at the shores of Lake Michigan. When the comet was found, a star child was discovered within its icy core. The village named him Adam Martin. If VP Creative Group has a laughing place, it is embodied in Adam. While his parents worried he might be destined to live his life inside of his own imagination, they decided to nurture his inherent ability to create something from nothing. Not one to do things simply, Adam received his BFA in film studies at University of Colorado at Boulder, and then his BS (he’s snickering, now) in graphic design at Art Institute of Vegas Adam’s true passions in life are storytelling, and subverting expectations. He finds delight in surprising others and using a camera, pen and notebook, or keyboard and mouse to put a smile on people’s faces.

Born in Oklahoma and raised in Hawaii, Bryant is the poster child for creativity and experience. It began with watching morning cartoons and collecting sweet action figures (his words), and continues to this day with outstanding work for VP Creative Group. A graduate of University of Nevada Las Vegas, Bryant made his degree work for him, and has proven to be a competent and talented addition to the team. Bryant is still very much an adventurous fellow, and can often be found exploring nature on hikes, or tackling three-day music festivals.

In the fall of 1988 a lighting storm ravaged the desert of Death Valley. Thick, billowing clouds rolled across the cracked earth and a bolt of lightning struck a lone saguaro cactus. Out of the brilliant flash of light and scorch, a baby was born. That baby was Trina Kurilla (no relation). A native to Las Vegas, Trina was an artist from a young age. Her passion for drawing remained a hobby while writing took root, evolving from poetry to short stories and beyond. Cutting her teeth on business and communications studies in college, Trina earned her BA in communications at UNLV. Her passion for creative writing had her venturing into film scripts and novels. She discovered a joy for developmental editing, creating solutions for writers struggling with world building, character development, and crafting realistic dialogue. These skills lead to her involvement in the making of a feature film and numerous script projects. Her pursuit of the written word led her to the VP Creative Group where she now practices her wordsmithing skills as copywriter. In Trina’s spare time she dabbles in the alchemy of delicious baked goods and visiting other worlds through the back of wardrobes.

Carreon, variant of the name Carrion, means the decaying flesh of dead animals. But, this story is far from morbid. Daniela started her quest to move west in Houston, Texas, discovering her talent for art at a young age. She received her BFA in graphic design at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design in New Mexico, and was motivated to experiment with paper and typewriters. She worked for Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity and as a freelance graphic designer before landing herself in Las Vegas, where she now works as one of the graphic designers for VP Creative. In her free time, she likes to create watercolor illustrations, go on a street photography rampage, and play fetch with her cat, Rothko.

Jason descended from the mountainous deserts north of the greater Las Vegas area known as the “Wastelands.” He ambulated across UNLV’s stage with his BA in Design. He has history with the Gaming and Hospitality industries, where he got his start as a Motion Graphic Artist doing marquee animations across the US since 2011. He has worked in various fields, producing, shooting, editing, and animating for clients like Coca-Cola, DJI, Stryker, IHOP, and William Hill. Jason found his way to the VP Creative Group, where he currently tweens away as a Digital Content Designer. When he is not hunting down replicants or saving Asgard from Hella’s return, you can probably find him finger-painting, or climbing a boulder.
