Daniela joined the team with a penchant for handmade crafts and a passion for film photography. As a graphic designer, she will be adding her own unique style and ideas to many of our projects. Without further ado, here are a series of questions to get know more about Daniela.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and where you’re from.
I was born and raised in Houston, TX. Lived there for 20 years before leaving the nest and landing in Santa Fe, NM. After graduating with a degree in graphic design, I moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2014.
Can you tell us about the first job you’ve ever had?
I worked as a reading tutor at a children's learning center for two years. The best part of the job, of course, was reading children's books.
What made you want to be a graphic designer?
Illustration and calligraphy opened my curiosity to digital graphics. Before graphic design I studied fine arts. I still enjoy drawing and block printing when working on personal projects.
What is your favorite meal at Pronto?
Hmmm. . . my favorite meal at Pronto. . . It is usually a surprise.
What is one thing you’re glad you tried but would never do again?
I'm glad I got to see and hike in the blazing heat at Death Valley but I will never try to do that again.
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
So far, the most interesting place has been the Redwood National Park. I have never seen so many beautiful, enormous trees in one single space.
What are your favorite TV shows/movies/books?
The type of movies I like to watch are international drama-action films or re-watch films like Old Yeller and Young Frankenstein. I just finished watching Marvels' Defenders on Netflix. My favorite book of all time has to be The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupery. I have the book in three different languages: English, Spanish and French.
